The Microtest company implemented the solution of management accounting in M-I SWACO company Russia and Ukraine on the 1C Platform. 1C: Trade Management 8

In anticipation of

The existing information exchange corporate information system did not satisfy to requirements of actively growing business any more. Management accounting of appliances was kept by means of Excel, and coordination between jobs was made by e-mail, preparation and editing reports required the considerable volume of time of specialists.

The company management made the decision on upgrade of the existing information system.

The main destination of the information system implemented in M-I SWACO company became aggregation of all information on product quantity in turnover and its further optimal redistribution between branches, customers and partners. The Microtest company became the partner in the project.

Solution

For solving of tasks of M-I SWACO company specialists Microtest offered automation on the basis of a software platform "1C: Trade Management".

The solution Microtest was developed taking into account complex automation of problems of operational and management accounting, the analysis and planning of trade operations that provided effective management of logistic processes.

The project covered the directions of business activities:

• customer relationship management and partners,
• management of warehouse stocks,
• purchase management of supplies,
• optimization of a stock at the enterprise taking into account the expected goods from the supplier,
• accounting and analysis of commercial costs,
• monitoring and efficiency analysis of sales,
• control of observance of plans, funds availability, discipline of deliveries and payments.

Result

The implemented solution allowed the management of M-I SWACO to solve all assigned tasks, and, above all - to see the broad and relevant picture of activity of the company and, respectively, to manage business more effectively.

As a result:

• costs on purchases by consolidation of requirements of divisions, reduction of single purchases, optimization of the prices as a result of tenders and auctions are reduced,
• the purchasing cycle due to automation of routine transactions of vendor interaction is reduced,
• the base of supply sources is optimized and the quality of supply is controlled,
• control of the status of a remaining balance of the nomenclature (it is free, reserved under the order) is provided,
• the choice of optimal supply sources (assessment of qualification of suppliers, tenders and auctions) is automated,
• processes of the conclusion and control of execution of supplier contracts are automated,
• collecting, registration and requirements analysis of all divisions of the company in purchases of materials and services is organized, the diagram of purchases is planned.
