Rosseti replaces foreign firewalls with Russian ones for 206 million rubles

On October 3, 2024, Rosseti announced a tender for the implementation of work on import substitution of the firewall of the executive apparatus. We are talking about replacing foreign solutions with Russian ones. Total project costs are estimated at 206.67 million rubles.

The terms of reference state that the supplied firewalls must solve the problems of secure controlled access of users of the customer's corporate information computing network to the Internet. The system is implemented using a firmware solution that provides full traffic control and access control, as well as provides built-in network protection. The principle of operation of the equipment should be based on the creation of rules applied to users and their groups. The platform should include a server, an administration console, a module to ensure proactive protection of the corporate network from modern threats, dangerous and undesirable Internet resources. The system shall assume the addition of other modules.

Rosseti purchases 24 firewalls of three types - with a bandwidth of up to 25 Gb/s, 30 Gb/s and 60 Gb/s. The year of production of the supplied equipment is not earlier than 2023.

The equipment must be assembled in industrial conditions that meet the ISO9001 standard, have certificates of compliance with the requirements of the EAC certification system. The Contractor shall provide a warranty service period of at least three years.

Import substitution is aimed at improving the security of the corporate network and improving traffic management. A procurement participant may be any legal entity or several legal entities acting on the side of one procurement participant, regardless of the organizational and legal form, form of ownership, location and place of origin of capital, with the exception of a legal entity that is a foreign agent.^[1]
