2024: ₽46 billion allocated for construction of 330 women's consultations in Russia

As part of the new national project, Family"" Russian government allocates ₽46 billion to expand the network of women's consultations. This was announced on October 16, 2024 by the minister health care Russia Mikhail Murashko during a report to the president Vladimir Putin on the development of health infrastructure.

According to the official telegram channel of the Russian Ministry of Health, special attention will be paid to the construction of new women's consultations in small settlements, villages and urban-type settlements. It is planned to create 330 new institutions throughout the country.

Deputy Minister of Health of Russia Evgenia Kotova noted that all women's consultations will introduce technologies to increase labor productivity, as well as uniform decisions on style and design. Retrofitting and retrofitting of existing facilities will be carried out as part of the primary health care modernization program.

In addition, within the framework of the national project "Family," more than ₽48 billion is allocated for the renovation and re-equipment of the network of perinatal centers. The changes will affect the "anchor" perinatal centers and children's hospitals of regional importance, as well as all city hospitals providing emergency assistance to children. In these medical institutions, it is planned to create anti-shock chambers in reception departments, which will increase the effectiveness of providing assistance to children entering in emergency condition.

Health Minister Mikhail Murashko in October 2024 stressed that over the past five years, more than 6 thousand new healthcare facilities have been created in Russia, and another 600 facilities will be commissioned by the end of 2024. Major repairs and reconstructions were carried out in 5300 medical institutions.[1]
