2024: Obtaining a certificate of compliance with the requirements of the third level of protection
MTS Web Services (MWS), part of the MTS group, on October 18, 2024 announced that the company's geodistributed object storage received a certificate of compliance with the requirements of the third level of security (UZ-3). This will allow MWS to provide a service for storing personal data in object storage. It is suitable for any companies working with personal data and guarantees compliance with the requirements of Russian legislation to ensure their safety and security.
Thanks to the certification, Russian companies will be able to place personal data in the object storage that correspond to the third level of security of IT systems according to the classification of the Federal Law "On Personal Data." Such data include names, surnames, phone numbers, passport data. Placing personal data in the cloud will allow companies to ensure their safety in accordance with the requirements of the law on the processing of such data.
To store and work with personal data, the company's IT infrastructure must meet the requirements of the FZ-152. Moving these processes to the cloud will allow a business not to undergo certification on its own, thereby speeding up the launch of projects that require the processing of personal data. In addition, companies will not have to independently purchase equipment, maintain its operability and security, - said Andrey Bankov, leading manager of the MTS Web Services Calculation and Storage stream. |
