2024: Product Announcement

In mid-October 2024, the Chinese company Shanghai Kepler Robotics Co., Ltd. (Kepler Humanoid Robot) announced the development of a full-size humanoid robot Forerunner K2. The machine is designed for use at various production sites, warehouses, commercial facilities, etc.

The robot received a total of 52 degrees of freedom of movement. In particular, each of the hands has 11 degrees of freedom - active and passive, thanks to which the Forerunner K2 is capable of performing the widest range of tasks. Sensor sensors at the fingertips have up to 96 contact points responsible for touch. On one charge of a 2.33 kVt·ch battery pack, the robot can function for up to eight hours.

Introduced an industrial humanoid robot with 52 degrees of freedom of movement and 8-hour work without recharging

The machine uses artificial intelligence-based software. It is responsible for dynamic analysis of the surrounding space, strategic task planning, autonomous training and movement control. Improved gait control algorithms increased the stability of the Forerunner K2 and increased the speed of its movement. Visual perception and autonomous navigation allow you to monitor and recognize your environment in real time, providing a quick and accurate response in changing conditions. In each of the hands, the robot is able to carry loads weighing up to 15 kg.

According to Kepler Humanoid Robot, Forerunner K2 can effectively work side by side with humans. The robot can be integrated into production processes, warehouse and logistics operations, etc. In order to further expand the real scenarios for the operation of the machine, the developer cooperates with industry partners. The goal of the company is to create intelligent, reliable, safe and cost-effective robots.[1][2]
