2024: TRIM application pilot implementation
The specialists of NPP SpetsTek, together with the customer, completed a pilot project for the implementation of the information system for managing equipment bypasses of ZAO NP NCH KBC named after S. P. Titov. The system was created using the TRIM mobile application. SpetsTek announced this on October 23, 2024.
The project became a stage in the development of the information system for managing maintenance and repairs (IMS MRO) of equipment operating at the enterprise since May 2018, and also created on the basis of the TRIM software complex . During the operation of the MRO ICSS, the management of the enterprise became aware of the need to strengthen control over the execution of equipment bypasses, increase their performance and speed of transmitting data on the results of bypasses from the production area, as well as the reliability of these data.
In this regard, the management of the Naberezhnochelninsky KBC decided to start a project to introduce a multi-user information system for the distributed collection, accounting and streamlining of data on the results of bypasses, inspections of equipment and control of technical parameters. The pilot object was the Paper Mill division, or rather, the milling and preparatory department of the BF, in which waste paper is prepared for paper production.
The design documentation for the bypass management system provides for an architecture that includes mobile devices for direct crawlers, desktop workplaces for specialists who create bypass routes, bypass schedulers and system administrators, as well as NFC tags for radio frequency identification of inspection objects located directly on the equipment.
For the purpose of the project, the customer purchased and provided the contractor with mobile devices under control, OS Android purchased NFC tags and placed them on the equipment, provided a list of controlled parameters and control points in accordance with the checklists filled in by the crawlers, prepared and handed over to the contractor templates of analytical reporting forms that should be implemented in the system. As desktop jobs, MRO workstations were involved.
For its part, SpetsTek NPP (the contractor) established information links database of inspection objects in the MRO ICSS with NFC tags, deployed and configured the TRIM-Mobile application on mobile devices, which supports identification of equipment by NFC tag, entering values of parameters and operational states, filling out electronic check lists for visual inspection of equipment, registration/failures with photofixation, creating an application for work on the condition (elimination of defects) and other operations of the crawler. Delivered to the customer an indefinite license to use TRIM-Mobile in the amount of 20 users. Created data a system database with information on bypasses and inspections of equipment. He developed analytical reporting forms. He trained users and developed a guide for them to work with mobile TRIM.
As a result of the pilot project, a bypass management system with quantitative parameters was created: bypass routes 5, operation facilities within one bypass - no more than 20, no more than 10 control points for one operation facility, identification points for operation facilities 70, mobile devices in system 5, analytical and reporting forms 8.
The created system ensured the automation of data collection processes during bypasses with minimizing the impact of the human factor on the completeness and reliability of data, accounting for the results of bypasses in real time. It is planned to further expand the system to cover other areas and divisions.
