On October 23, 2024, 1C announced that Armex had automated the work of BelInterMarket, one of the leading printing enterprises in Belarus. System "1C: Company Management 8 for Belarus" with integrated module "1S:UNF 8. Printing 2 "helped organize operational production management, ensure accurate accounting of costs and calculation of the cost of each order, taking into account technological standards and costs of equipment installation. Orders are processed 30% faster. Materials in production are consumed more economically, stocks are reduced. Traceability of raw materials is ensured, quality control of finished products is optimized. Management quickly receives the information necessary for business development.

According to the company, BelInterMarket began with printing forms, and then expanded production and began to produce labels for food and industrial products, as well as an unsealed label for trade. With the growth of production, the number of orders increased. At the same time, the work of production units was not automated: electronic tables were used for management and accounting, and the post-print processing department kept records on paper. Production data - output volumes, costs, personnel generation - had to be collected manually from different sources. It took a long time, there were mistakes. It was difficult to calculate the cost of orders, plan and control production.

The company began to need another information system that would allow combining the work of the divisions. It was necessary to organize operational accounting and control the processing of orders at all stages, to ensure accurate calculation of costs taking into account technological standards and expenses for the installation, as well as the preparation of management reports to assess the effectiveness of both individual departments and each manager.

It was decided to create an updated information system on the basis of "1C: Company Management 8 for Belarus" and "1S:UNF 8. Printing 2. " Armex became the implementation partner.

During the project, an integrated control system was created for all departments, barcode scanners were connected, data was exchanged with 1C: Accounting, and specialized reports were added to the system to assess the work of employees and equipment in accordance with the needs of the printing house.

The main results of the project:

  • Production management is optimized. All data on the work of production units are recorded in the system on the ground and translated into the master system for further processing: planning purchases, shipments, repairs, generating documents and reports, calculating piece salaries, etc. The number of errors in production accounting decreased by 80%, which had a positive effect on the work of all related divisions.
  • An effective barcoding system has been implemented, and material registration has been implemented. Production employees now record material consumption in real time, and management receives up-to-date data on material balances and can use them to print specific orders. This helps to make efficient use of each roll, which reduces the number of trimmings and inventory.
  • In shipments, employees also scan barcodes on rolls and pallets. As a result, the release of finished products is clearly controlled, shipments have accelerated.
  • Accurate control of order costs from details to each reel used in production is ensured. This makes it possible for the quality department to quickly track the defect and timely withdraw defective batches of materials from production. In addition, accurate calculation of cost and profitability helps to identify the most profitable products and develop profitable business areas.
  • Increased control over the work of personnel and equipment. In the system at any time you can get information about who, at what time and with what order worked, what chase went through each piece of equipment, what is the current load, what machines, why and how long they were idle. This allows you to rationally plan the work of personnel, accurately calculate bonuses and piecework, timely perform maintenance work on machines and update spare parts and components.
  • In addition, the prompt and unmistakable formation of localized documents is ensured, taking into account the legal norms of Belarus.
