2024: Delivery by ElarScan A2-400R
The Golitsyn Border Institute of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation will digitize documents at ElarSKAN. ELAR announced this on October 25, 2024.
The domestic planetary scanning complex ElarScan A2-400R has been delivered to the educational institution.
The Golitsyn Border Institute of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation is a federal state state-owned educational institution that trains officers and warrant officers of the Border Service of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation. The institute traces its history to the border school of the OGPU of the USSR, which existed in 1930-1953.
The ElarScan A2-400R scanner will allow you to carefully and in high resolution scan various types of stitched and embroidered originals of the format to A2, using automatic adjustment for documents of different thickness and texture. The V-shaped cradle is adjustable to the desired format and degree of opening - 90, 120 or 180, allowing you to scan originals up to 15 cm thick and weighing up to 15 kg. Working with the scanner is as simple as possible and will allow any employee of the institution to scan the required amount of documents. With the help of embedded software, ElarScan allows you to process the resulting images and save them to the scanner memory, to an external USB drive and to a single information system.
