Pango Cars increased car sales through integration with Yandex services for business

2024: Data exchange with "Авто.ру Business"

Users of the Pango Cars service have gained access to more than 100 thousand offers to sell used cars. Now the online showcase automatically publishes verified ads from dealers who post them on the Авто.ру Business service. Data exchange between sites is configured using the Yandex Cloud data platform services. Yandex announced this on October 28, 2024.

The car seller, user Авто.ру Business, just go to his personal account and tick the ads that will also be published on the Pango Cars window - the publication will start automatically. Dealers can use the site as a tool for additional traffic to sell cars. For users, buying cars through Pango Cars makes it possible to get an extended guarantee and favorable credit conditions. The buyer can contact the seller by phone or leave a request on the website so that the seller calls him back on his own.

Pango Cars used Yandex Cloud services to quickly process and store ads. Photos of the car are stored on the Yandex Cloud platform in the S3. Car data is stored in MongoDB, and user data is stored in Postgres. Classified is operated through Kubernetes.

When we connected synchronization with the Business Авто.ру, we faced a non-trivial task. It was necessary in just two months to "digest" a huge amount of data - 300 thousand cards from users who agreed to publish their ads on our site. Colleagues from Авто.ру Business transmitted data on a specially developed API. We posted all this information on the Yandex Cloud platform: photos and media files - in Yandex Object Storage, user data - in Managed PostgreSQL, and ad cards were processed using Managed Service for MongoDB. As a result of the project, since the beginning of 2024, customers have already issued more than 18 thousand loans for cars through the service, "said Boris Tsorionov, director of digital services development at Pango Cars.
