The meat processing plant automates the line of packaging and implements SCADA system

The Namip Industry Solutions company started project implementation of automation of the line of packaging of meat processing plant. Within the project development of packing packing machines, integration of a management system by them in a corporate information system of the plant is conducted.

Solution

The management system for the equipment is created on component base of eminent manufacturing companies:

• HMI (human-computer interface) of the Simatic series and frequency transformers Siemens Micromaster;
• perekladchik, servo actuators and pneumo-automatic equipment of Festo company;
• Avery Dennison printers applicators;
• hand scanners of a barcode Symbol;
• photosensors of Sick company;
• starting and protective equipment of electric equipment of ABB company;
• other components.

Implementation

The project provides integration of a management system for packing packing machines into the existing engineering dispatching system of the plant created based on Siemens WinCC SCADA system. Technology data will be are displayed not only in the mode of "real time", but to be archived. By the PCS of machines it will also be integrated to the system of traceability existing at the plant.
