2024: The launch of Tomoru.Team
AI-startup Tomoru On November 14, 2024, it launched HR Tech's job replacement service, Tomoru.Team, a recruitment platform with a predictive system and AI that speeds up recruiting sevenfold and makes it three times cheaper. The service has already connected over 200 employers.
Tomoru.Team operates in the Telegram Apps environment and is a hybrid of a work service, Netflix from the predictive system and Tinder as an interaction format. The key action is the match - the mutual like of the employer and the employee, after which an interview is appointed. The system is trained on data and shows offers (vacancies for applicants, resumes for employers) on the look-a-like principle.
The hiring market is sick, it is ultra inefficient, and we see the root of the problem in outdated recruiting approaches with job boards. Mutual spam occurs between employers and applicants, hiring is almost always a compromise, because companies are forced to make offers not to ideal candidates, but to the best of those whom they were able to reach. As a result, we get dissatisfied workers on the ground and staff turnover. In 2024, 34% of workers were going to change the company. We make a revolution in approaches, the system preliminarily analyzes the experience and context of the work of the company and the candidate, personal preferences, we have five times more parameters than can be found on a regular work site. This allows recruiters to show only those who are initially predisposed to a specific job, "said Denis Balyura, founder of Tomoru.Team. |
The MVP of the service was launched in early March 2024. Tomoru.Team appeared as a result of the evolution of the internal recruiting system: an automated hiring was built in the parent company, in 2023 it allowed processing 110 thousand responses to vacancies in 50 parameters by only two recruiters. An early version has already shown up to 12 times higher efficiency than with standard job boards. On average across the platform, in order to hire one professional, the recruiter needs to study just 20 candidates, five of whom will have a mutual tag and an interview will take place. The fastest hiring since the registration of a specialist was only one hour before the interview, after which the offer was made. As of November 2024, within the framework of the closed test period, 5 thousand professionals use the service.
We offer a different approach to hiring, not as a burning and routine job, but rather as a lifestyle interaction. Recruiters can get acquainted with applicants on the way to work and between interviews, and the search for a company for a specialist turns into a dopamine event. We believe that our service will soon change the balance of power in the current market IT- solutions for hiring, - said Ksenia Kurbatova, commercial director of Tomoru.Team. |
One of the features of the platform is the video view, the use of which increases the conversion to hiring by 18 times.
Like the parent company, the Tomoru.Team aims to multiply growth and quickly enter international markets (Tomoru talk robots operate in 29 countries as of November 2024). By the end of the year, it is planned to localize the service in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, as well as Swahili.
