2024: AI-based digital avatar testing
PAO, the digital MTS ecosystem, on November 14, 2024 announced testing of digital avatars based on that artificial intelligence will replace educational course lecturers. The solution will increase the speed of production and renewal of lecture material by three times. In 2025, more than three thousand people will undergo training using digital avatars.
The pilot project was implemented in the internal perimeter of the company - the first product with a digital copy of the teacher was an online course on development in the GO language at the MTS Theta IT expertise development center. Then the solution was scaled for the program for the development of regional HR teams of MTS telecom business. Executive avatars accompanied participants throughout the course.
Digital avatars were developed by the Future Crew Innovation Center. They reduce the cost of content production by reducing the shooting time of lecturers. Also, a digital avatar allows you to quickly create more high-quality content: all you need to record a video lesson with an avatar is the text prepared by the lecturer. The technology makes it possible to attract top managers to participate in projects, taking into account their tight schedule. It is enough for a person to record short samples of video, from which his avatar will be created within a few minutes. After that, you can generate video with an avatar in any language - the technology will independently translate educational video content into a foreign language without the participation of translators.
We actively use artificial intelligence for more efficient and interesting work of employees, for example, AI assistants help programmers write code, prepare texts, search and analyze information. With the help of digital avatars, we will be able to improve the process of preparing lecture material for employees. It can take up to four months to create a video course, most of the time it takes the process of preparing the speaker, shooting the material and editing it. The new technology makes it possible to simplify the production process, while the course participants will be accompanied by well-known experts, - commented Larisa Bodyagina, Vice President for Human Resources at MTS. |
