2024: Success story of introduction of Vitro-CAD ASUPD in Mogilevenergo RUE

About Customer

Mogilev republican unitary enterprise power industry "" Mogilevenergo provides production, transportation distribution and sale of electric and thermal energy with operational dispatch control of these processes in Mogilev and Mogilev region (). Belarus

Mogilevenergo RUE includes 11 branches: two high-pressure stations (Mogilevskaya TETs-2 and Bobruisk CHPP-2), three branches of electric networks: (Mogilev, Bobruisk, Klimovichi), two branches of heating networks (Mogilev and Bobruisk), as well as branches "Energoremont," "Training Center," "Engineering Center," agricultural branch "Wendorozh."

RUE Mogilevenergo acts as the Customer, providing access to its site to branches that are part of the enterprise for their interaction with each other and with the head division.

The main goals of the enterprise are reliable, high-quality, safe, cost-effective functioning and innovative development of the production, transmission, distribution and sale of electric and thermal energy to consumers.

The system is selected to create a digital space that includes all information on current enterprise projects. Vitro-CAD

Implementation objectives

The goals and objectives of the Vitro-CAD system implementation were to obtain a centralized knowledge base about the project, constant access to up-to-date information of all interested, version and change management, automation of routine tasks, prompt exchange of information, reduced time for interaction and coordination between participants, increased transparency of processes, timely notifications of deadlines and tasks.

Implemented functionality

A single automated environment of general Vitro-CAD data has been implemented and configured with the help of a contractor - a private enterprise Glavtelecom. The possibility of prompt communication between key participants is organized to solve complex issues.

Subsites have been created for three branches of electric networks (Mogilev, Bobruisk, Klimovichi), which contain documentation on the objects of which they are owners. The information is stored structured, templates are used. Access rights are divided for users of different branches.

The developer of the design and estimate documentation is mainly the Engineering and Technical Center of the Mogilevenergo RUE. The task of the designers is to place the project documentation on the corresponding customer (branch of electrical networks) and start the approval workflow, as well as adjust and re-approve the documentation if necessary to make changes.

Much attention is paid to the formation of the information table "Project Progress," which is filled out on the side of the customer (branch of electric networks), but can be used by the owner of the facility - the Mogilevenergo RUE itself to obtain operational information on projects and analytics in various sections (by dates, by counterparties, by types of facilities, length, location, etc.). Currently, this information is provided at the request of the Mogilevenergo RUE and is being formed MS Excel on the customer's side.

The change in the status of projects is automated depending on the conclusions and documents received (for example, after filling out the column "Date of transfer of documentation for state examination," the status changes to "PD at state examination," and when the column "Date and number of the order on approval of the joint venture" is filled out, the project will be assigned the status "PD developed and approved").

Using the tools of the system, the functionality "Workflows" (VitroWorkflows) is configured. Business processes are organized for coordination and acceptance of documentation between the customer, the designer and the owner of the facility. This functionality allows you to coordinate without using paper copies, accept documentation from designers in electronic form. Work processes are sequential-parallel, branched (sub-processes can be created), with the formation of notifications by e-mail to performers (including when deadlines are approaching).

Positive effect

The introduction of the Vitro-CAD system made it possible to ensure transparency and traceability of all processes, reduce the risks of errors and duplication of work, increase the efficiency of work processes and the quality of interaction between participants. Project management has become more structured, analytical and transparent, which contributes to improving quality, reducing costs and meeting deadlines.
