2024: Product Announcement

On September 10, 2024, Lely introduced the Juno Max robot, designed to automatically push the feed in the cows. The machine is designed to reduce labor costs, as well as improve dairy productivity.

It is noted that the constant access of cows to fresh feed has a positive effect on the general health of animals. This increases fertility and productivity, which, in the end, leads to an increase in farmers' revenue. But often the amount of work and workload required to provide livestock with feed around the clock is too burdensome for livestock farms. The Juno Max system is designed to solve problems.

Robot that feeds cattle in cows introduced

The robot moves along the cowsheds along the stern grate. He, by necessity, pushes the food to the lattice, without interfering with the animals. The developer calls the key advantages of the platform minimal labor, energy efficiency and high performance. The machine can operate around the clock with minimal service. Batteries provide power. The device is equipped with a rotating mechanism in the lower part, which pushes the food towards the animals.

Thanks to three large driving wheels, the robot can function on uneven surfaces and overcome slopes. The Juno Max is designed to effectively push feed on large farms with at least 800-1,000 cows. The equipment includes various sensors, including lidar, which allow you to detect obstacles and plan the optimal route. Through a mobile application, farmers can determine the location of the robot, give new tasks, or temporarily suspend feed for any other work.[1]
