2024: The introduction of cyberdogs with integrated intelligent video analytics technologies
VisionLabs, together with the Laboratory for New Products, presented cyberdogs with integrated intelligent video analytics technologies. The solution was tested at the construction site of the International Medical Cluster Foundation (MMK) and is aimed at improving the level of occupational safety and preventing safety violations. VisionLabs announced this on December 5, 2024.
Cyberdog is equipped with an intelligent computer vision system VisionLabs LUNA, which allows you to record violations of safety rules, the presence or absence of personal protective equipment, as well as the presence of strangers at the facility in real time. In addition, upon request, the robot will be able to recognize various scenarios of situational analytics - fights, a fallen person, objects left behind, employees being in dangerous or prohibited areas for visiting.
The mobile platform with autonomous navigation, built-in lidar and satellite positioning system is capable of monitoring construction and industrial facilities of any complexity. Robosobaka moves along a given route, and, if necessary, can be controlled by the operator using the remote cyberdog. In addition, it is water and dust resistant, which means it can work in extreme working conditions - including in mines, at facilities with a high level of radiation, and construction sites.
The autonomy of the solution allows you to bypass hard-to-reach areas where stationary cameras are ineffective, and guarantees a high level of control over compliance with safety standards. While moving around the territory, the robot is able to detect employees without helmets, vests or other personal protective equipment and instantly notify the dispatcher. The operator will see a specific employee on the video and promptly send a message asking them to put on the necessary protective elements or notify the head of the team.
According to the results of testing, the decision was recommended for inclusion in the Register of Innovative Solutions of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the city of Moscow. Automation of monitoring made it possible to significantly reduce the number of accidents, increase the level of discipline among workers and reduce the burden on security personnel. Cyberdog was able to reach all points of a given route. When recognizing PPE, VisionLabs algorithms show the accuracy of the classification of the presence of a helmet 99.2%, a vest - 97.0% and gloves - 92.1%.
The development of VisionLabs and the Laboratory of New Products is distinguished not only by high accuracy, but also by the speed of implementation. Thanks to mobility and independence from permanent infrastructure, it will become an indispensable solution for territories with a large area, many variable factors or a high level of risk - warehouse complexes, energy facilities, medical clusters. The use of cyberdogs will also reduce the cost of organizing stationary video surveillance and increase the effectiveness of monitoring. And the use of additional sensors will help determine the conditions of equipment (integrity, temperature, vibration), instrument readings, heat and gas leaks, etc.
VisionLabs and the Laboratory of New Products are residents of the Vorobyovy Gory, an innovative scientific and technological center of Moscow State University. Companies are developing video analytics systems and mobile robotic systems for key industries, including industry, power and real estate. In total, companies' solutions are used at more than 75 industrial enterprises.
VisionLabs computer vision opens up opportunities for robots to monitor industrial facilities in environments where human control is limited. Technologies allow you to identify violations in real time and quickly respond to risks. Our partnership with the Laboratory of New Products shows how artificial intelligence can serve as an important link in solving industrial safety problems. We strive to continue introducing such innovations in key industries, "said Dmitry Markov, CEO of VisionLabs. |
In the modern high-tech world, it is impossible to achieve great results alone, our friendship with VisionLabs gave rise to a product that has become in demand by Russian companies and is already entering the international market. Where stationary solutions do not work, mobile robots work in any weather, time of day and even in dangerous conditions, "added Maxim Suvorov, technical director of the Laboratory of New Products. |
