Inferit provides 20 servers for CGF

2024: Provision of 20 servers

Inferit provided 20 high-performance Inferit Technika servers for CGF, one of the visual effects studios. The studio received additional resources necessary for the implementation of a large project under tight deadlines. Softline announced this on December 6, 2024.

Studio CGF creates graphics for feature films, animation and other media content. Processing complex visual effects places high demands on computing resources, so the studio works with its own IT infrastructure. However, the existing capacities are not always enough - for some projects it is difficult to predict the required amount of resources.

For one of the projects, CGF was looking for servers a short time: two months. The configuration is specific, but standard for the studio: processor Intel Xeon Gold 6226R, 64 cores, 128 GB RAM.

The CGF formulated the following requirements:

• Rent 20 servers with a given configuration;
• Location on own site to reduce network delay;
• Returns servers to the supplier after the project is complete.

The announced requirements were fulfilled only by the Inferit Cloud provider. As part of the contract, the provider provided servers manufactured by Inferit Technika. The company's specialists installed and configured the equipment at the customer's site, and after the completion of the project, the servers will be returned to the provider.

We received a specific request, which could satisfy a very small number of providers, since the studio uses a rather rare server configuration. As a rule, such equipment is not leased for several months. However, for us, the customer's requirements did not become a problem. The team brilliantly coped with the task, and the studio appreciated this, - said Sergei Andrievsky, technical director of Inferit Cloud.
