2024: Migration to the Selectel Cloud

Level Group has completed the migration of IT infrastructure to the Selectel cloud. The project allowed the company to provide 1,500 employees with a comfortable working environment, optimize IT infrastructure costs by 30% and increase the stability of corporate services. Selectel announced this on January 15, 2025.

Level Group continues to develop actively, implementing construction projects in the comfort, business and premium segments, as well as commercial and warehouse real estate. Given the scale of the business, the company's key priorities are ensuring uninterrupted operation of corporate services, data protection, flexibility to scale infrastructure and avoiding capital expenditures in favor of operating ones.

As part of the project, Selectel deployed a private cloud, as well as combining Level Group offices and remote facilities into a single secure network. During the migration process, Selectel conducted an audit of the current infrastructure, prepared a detailed work plan and implemented a seamless transition to the cloud without affecting end users. This made it possible to avoid disruptions and ensure continuity of business processes.

The result of the project was an increase in the availability and resiliency of corporate services, as well as a decrease in capital costs. The use of IT infrastructure under the IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) model allowed Level Group to transfer control of computing equipment to the side of Selectel, focusing on solving strategic problems.

We were offered favorable conditions that helped not only stay within the budget, but also save up to 30% on new infrastructure. In addition, the cloud allows you to take care of physical equipment from the company. All technical aspects, including connection and maintenance, are on the Selectel side, said Vsevolod Nechitailenko, digital director of Level Group.

In the future, Level Group plans to scale the design institute using virtual desktops (VDI). This decision will expand the geography of hiring employees and create a comfortable environment for their work, supporting the company's strategy to develop and improve the efficiency of business processes.
