2025: Inclusion in the register of domestic software

OYBoot firmware is included in the domestic software registry. OYBoot - own project, OpenYard which is designed to initialize the basic I/O system () BIOS server of the equipment. The solution is included in the registry domestic software in the category "Embedded system programs." OpenYard announced this on January 20, 2025.

The development of the built-in software and localization of the microcode are one of the key areas of development of the OpenYard team R&D center. For the first time, our own solutions in this area were demonstrated in the last quarter of 2024 as part of the OpenYard Partner Day partnership event. OYBoot was demonstrated to a wide range of trusted partners of OpenYard, as well as its key advantages, including the implementation of the main functionality of the UEFI bootloader: ACPI support; SMBIOS; IPMI; support for UEFI OpROM IPv4IPv6 for/PXE boot, SATA control/sSATA controller, as well as extension cards (, RAID FibreChannel, Infiniband, Network controllers); the presence of a pseudographic Setup utility with a dynamically replenished set of configurable parameters; Support for interactive Efi Shell.

Proprietary firmware development allows OpenYard to develop technological independence, create unique and unparalleled products, as well as increase its own technical expertise and provide flexibility in implementing client requirements. At the end of 2024, the first OpenYard firmware development - OYBoot firmware - was included in the Russian software registry.
