2025: Completion

In the Khostinsky district of Sochi, the construction of a new sanatorium complex "Crystal" has been completed. Investments in the implementation of the project amounted to ₽24 billion. This was announced on January 29, 2025 by the press service of the LSR Group company, which initiated the construction.

The sanatorium was the first such facility erected in the city in the last 25 years. As part of the project, a modern building with developed infrastructure was built, as well as restoration work was carried out on the territory of the historical sanatorium "Volna." In total, ₽27 billion were allocated to update two facilities, of which ₽14,5 billion were invested in the restoration of Volna, and over ₽12 billion in the construction of Crystal.

The Crystal complex includes 349 rooms, divided into six categories in terms of comfort and equipment. In addition, 286 rooms are equipped in the renovated Volna sanatorium, of which 83 are located in the reconstructed historical building, and 203 in the new building. Within the framework of the project, a developed medical and health infrastructure has been created, including a balneological center, swimming pools, SPA zones and fitness centers.

The agreement on the reconstruction of the sanatorium complex was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2022. According to the document, it is planned to create a single recreational zone in Sochi on the basis of existing sanatoriums. According to representatives of the LSR Group, the new complex is intended for both individual recreation and spa treatment.

LSR Group was founded in 2006 and is engaged in the implementation of investment projects in the field of real estate, as well as industrial construction. A controlling stake in the enterprise belongs to businessman Andrei Molchanov. According to SPARK, the holding's management structure includes about ten enterprises.[1]
