2023:5 of the world's largest auto parts manufacturers
The world's largest supplier of automotive parts and components is the German multinational engineering and technology company Bosch. This is stated in the Statista review, which TAdviser got acquainted with in early February 2025.
It is noted that Bosch produces the widest range of products for the automotive sector. These are chassis and transmission components, automotive electronics, electric motors, batteries, starters and generators, headlights, various sensors and much more. According to Statista estimates, at the end of 2023, Bosch's revenue from the sale of automotive parts and components amounted to about €56.17 billion. And in the Fortune Global 500 list for 2024, the company ranks 105th.
On the second line in the ranking is the Japanese engineering corporation Denso. It produces products such as ignition systems, generators, compressors, spark and incandescent plugs, starters, oil filters, radiators, fuel pumps, engine and power control systems, air conditioning systems, various sensors, etc. In 2023, Denso received €45.71 billion.
Closes the top three German concern ZF Friedrichshafen AG, which specializes in chassis elements and gearboxes. The company's revenue is estimated at €42.9 billion. In addition, the top five included the South Korean company Hyundai Mobis and the German manufacturer Continental AG with a result of €41.94 billion and €41.42 billion, respectively.
It is noted that the automotive industry is at the stage of transformation, which is due to the electrification and use of new generation materials. Automotive part suppliers are expected to respond to changing market trends by increasing R&D spending.[1]
