2025: Plans to boost IT staff by a quarter in Q1

During the first quarter of 2025, Golden Apple plans to hire about 150 IT specialists, thus increasing the staff of the IT department by 25%. The company reported this to TAdviser on February 3.

At the beginning of February, almost 600 IT specialists were working in the Golden Apple. In the near future, the company will hire dozens of backend and frontend developers, devops, ML and data engineers, system analysts and testers. New employees will be able to work in the Moscow office of the Golden Apple, remotely from anywhere in the country or at the company's headquarters in Yekaterinburg.

In the Golden Apple, the need for a rapid increase in the number of personnel is explained by international expansion, the development of e-commerce and a number of other strategic tasks, such as the introduction of new technologies, automation of internal processes and the development of internal competence centers.

"Golden Apple" needs more IT specialists due to business expansion

In 2023, Golden Yabloko increased revenue by 52%, to 93.4 billion rubles, and almost caught up with the L'Etoile and Girlfriend group in this indicator. For 2024, the financial indicators as of February have not yet been released.

Since 2024, the company has been expanding in the Middle East: in the spring, Golden Apple opened a store and launched online sales in Qatar, and at the end of 2024 an online store opened in the UAE. The company intends to continue expansion in the Gulf countries, as well as develop an omnichannel presence in the CIS.

As of the beginning of February, the company's offline stores were open in 19 cities of Russia, 3 cities of Kazakhstan, as well as in Belarus and Qatar. Online orders are delivered throughout almost the entire territory of five countries.

The direction of e-commerce in the company has been actively developing since the beginning of the 2020 pandemic. It already accounts for more than 50% of revenue. The company is constantly introducing new online services that improve the user experience. So, in 2024, streams, video consultations, the ability to share a basket like cherry, generate a personalized gift card design using the YandexART neural network, and much more appeared in the application. For everyone interested in beauty topics, Flacon Mag magazine was integrated into the site and the Golden Apple application. And for fans of online games, the game "Beauty Tamagotchi" appeared, in which more than 2 million people played in a few months.

The expansion of the IT staff will speed up the launch of new services in all markets of the company's presence, according to the Golden Apple.
