With this scanner, we plan to digitize the archival documents that are most in demand among users, which are necessary for compiling pedigrees. The scanner is easy to use, has high performance and digitization quality, and most importantly, provides a careful contactless scanning mode. The acquisition of such equipment with improved capabilities is an important step of our archive, which will increase efficiency, improve access to information and preserve historical heritage for future generations, the State Historical Archive of Chuvashia said in a statement.
