2025: Implementation of the 1C: Integrated Automation System
Specialists "New Cephea" automated the work of the furniture company "Neighbors" (LLC "Synthesis"). With the help of 1C: Integrated Automation system, operational sales, procurement and service management is organized. Order processing accelerated by 40%. Operational purchasing planning is organized, taking into account material requirements and production plans. Excess reserves were reduced by 15%, the turnover of materials accelerated. Logistics costs are reduced by 18%. Stable and timely fulfillment of customer orders is ensured. This was announced on February 7, 2025 by representatives of the New Cephea company.
According to the company, in order to fulfill daily orders, you need to take into account and plan many factors - this requires timely planning and coordination between departments. Each month, the company processes 50 to 100 customer orders, maintaining flexibility and attention to the individual requirements of each customer. More than 50 orders to vendors are created to fulfill them and replenish inventory. At the same time, it is necessary to solve a set of other tasks - from timely design and execution of specifications in the design department to control over execution and logistics.
In addition, about 100 production orders are launched in production every month, which must be planned taking into account the available resources, production capacities and the schedule for the supply of materials.
Previously, different, unrelated programs were used for warehouse accounting, customer relationship management, and supply control in the company. It was not possible to form management and financial statements in real time. Data had to be manually transferred from program to program, which led to difficulties and slowed down work. It was difficult to predict the required volume of purchases.
It was also important for the company to establish effective management of supply chains and production resources, to build control over the sales process. To solve these problems, the 1C: Comprehensive Automation system was chosen. The implementation partner was the New Cephea company.
For 7 months, 1C: Integrated Automation was deployed at 30 workplaces and integrated with the company's CRM and design systems.
Key Project Deliverables:
- Order, purchase, and inventory balance management is optimized. The company now forms more accurate orders to suppliers, taking into account the current need for materials and the quantities required by production. Orders to vendors are consolidated on multiple customer orders at the same time, reducing the number of deliveries and allowing all required materials to be delivered at a time. Accurate material consumption statistics help determine the minimum required level of inventory balances, avoid spending money on the purchase of excess and manage inventory efficiently, ensuring stable fulfillment of orders. Logistics costs were reduced by 18%.
- The system provides automatic filling and calculation of installation and delivery services. The improved system calculates the cost of delivery depending on the range and weight, and the cost of installation - on the order price, which optimizes the process of placing orders and reduces the burden on employees. Processing time for one order was reduced by 40%. The automation of the checkout process allowed sales employees to free up more than 3 hours each day to work with customers and direct sales). The quality of customer service has improved.
- Integration with the CRM system and automatic data synchronization minimized errors, and integration with a specialized "furniture" system helped to more competently manage product production from design to installation. BOMs are loaded into 1C: Integrated Automation without manual data transfer, which saves employees time, and when creating a production document, order information is automatically transmitted to CRM, where the production department monitors the order status. When production is complete, the system updates the data in CRM, which allows the manager to quickly plan logistics and notify the customer.
- Optimized work with client cases. To do this, the "Claims" reference book has been improved in the system: the ability to account for the item spent on resolving cases has been added, and an appropriate report has been implemented that helps the service service to control all cases and quickly resolve them. The number of requests decreased by 12%.
- The preparation of management reporting has doubled. Management receives information about the work of departments in real time.
