2025: Participation in the cartel in the supply of computer equipment
The amount of state contracts concluded as part of a cartel conspiracy in the supply of educational and computer equipment to educational institutions reached ₽276,7 million. The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia established the fact of violation in February 2025. The companies Sigma, Imperium, A1, as well as an individual entrepreneur participated in the conspiracy.
According to the press service, FAS violations of antimonopoly legislation were revealed within the framework of 32 trade procedures in six regions:,, Buryatia Tatarstan Chuvashia,, and. The companies entered into an anti-competitive agreement to maintain trading prices, which is a violation of paragraph 2 of part 1 of article 11 of the law "On Protection of Competition." For this violation, cartel participants face negotiable fines under Part 2 of Article 14.32 of the Administrative Code.
This is the fifth major cartel uncovered by the FAS since the beginning of 2025. In January, the service revealed a pharmaceutical cartel worth ₽1 billion, a collusion of digital companies worth ₽70 million, a cartel supplying vital medicines worth ₽665 million and a road cartel, whose participants paid ₽264 million fines.[1]
