2025: Creation of a media network in 87 capitals of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation
Sinterra Media has completed the creation of a national media network in 87 capitals of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. In all cities of presence for partners, there are at least two connection points reserved by at least two routes. The company announced this on February 12, 2025.
The Synterra Media national media network allows you to deliver both signals from individual TV channels or groups of TV channels in studio quality, and provides direct broadcasts from sports facilities and venues and is comparable in coverage with satellite delivery of TV signals. The media network has high fault tolerance due to the use of SDN-technology of automatic route change, each node is connected by at least two geographically separated physical routes. The national media network is physically isolated from the Internet and does not use infrastructure that has access from external networks.
The national media network provides almost unlimited opportunities for LIVE video exchange between TV channels, studios, TV broadcasting facilities, sports facilities and TV operators in the capitals of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Any object connected to the network (television center, studio, air complex) can act as a source of TV broadcasting for the whole country, switching signals takes milliseconds.
We have created a national media network to unite all significant TV infrastructure facilities in the country into a single technological space. 87 cities - this is a little more than half of the target coverage, we will continue to join cities with a population of more than 100 thousand in 2025. As of February 2025, all federal, many regional TV channels, independent content producers and more than 200 TV network operators are already with us. Solving technological problems and uniting a disparate infrastructure, we create new opportunities for creativity and business, "said Grigory Uryev, CEO of Sinterra Media. |
