2024: Implementation of "1C: Integrated Automation "

In 4.5 months, Ledvans switched from a foreign accounting system to the Russian 1C: Integrated Automation. The project of urgent transition from foreign software removed from support in Russia to the Russian solution of comprehensive automation of business processes was implemented by WiseAdvice-IT.

The official dealer of the international corporation LEDVANCE for the development of various lighting solutions and the production of lighting equipment on the job of employees and supplies throughout Russia, near and far abroad switched to domestic software, providing comprehensive automation of regulated, tax and operational accounting.

The company needed to replace the historical system in a short time. The choice was made in favor of a more modern solution based on the software product "1C: Integrated Automation" edition 2.5 "with the ability to maintain, among other things, production accounting.

The previously regulated accounting of Ledvans JSC was automated in a master system based on foreign SAP software integrated with Russian HR and WMS systems. Due to the departure of the German vendor from our market and the termination of support from March 2024, it was necessary to quickly and without stopping the usual activities of the management company to implement a domestic solution on the 1C: Enterprise platform.

In a short time, against the background of disabling access to Internet support for the system used in LEDVANCE, the transition to the 1C solution was implemented. The WiseAdvice-IT integrator team has already quickly redrawn the rapid implementation technology during the automation project, providing a comfortable and fast replacement of the information system.

The work was carried out in 5 months in two stages: 1 - the launch of operational accounting after 2 months from the beginning of the project, 2 - the launch of regulated accounting. "1C: Integrated Automation 2.5" has become the best option for online transfer of data from a foreign accounting system and quick adaptation of users already familiar with the "1C" interface.

The system automates about 50 business processes with the reflection of more than 120 operations in regulated accounting in part 6 of the functional areas:

• Regulated accounting according to RAS;
• Procurement Management;
• Cost calculation;
• Sales Management;
• Treasury;
• Warehouse, inventory and delivery management.

The main configuration objects "1C: Integrated Automation" have a little more than 180 reference books and documents. Centralized directories and interaction processes were implemented in all business areas of the company within the framework of one information system.

As part of adapting the system to business requirements, more than 40 functional improvements were implemented. A unified corporate base has been built due to the integration of related human resources and warehouse accounting systems on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform. The company already notes an increase in the quality and efficiency of data for management decisions by 20%.

A comprehensive system of regulated, tax and operational accounting was obtained, supporting automatic amendments to the legislation of the Russian Federation.

Due to Ledvance's need for accounting under the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS), a project is planned for 2025 to upgrade the 1C: Integrated Automation configuration to 1C:ERP Enterprise Management, as well as additional integration with 1C: Document Flow. Within the framework of the current project, a set of management reports was specially developed for the preparation of financial statements to the parent company.
