In Scientific Research Institute Ekran implementation of EDMS is complete

Federal state unitary enterprise Scientific Research Institute Ekran completed the first stage of works on system implementation of electronic document management. At the heart of the project the solution DIRECTUM. Implementation was executed by forces of ASCON-Samara company.

In anticipation of

Before start of the DIRECTUM system a lot of time left on search and approval of different documents. Routine transactions with paper carriers slowed down work of dynamically developing enterprise. Thanks to new IT solution, time expenditure of the engineering administrative machine was significantly reduced.

Result

System implementation of DIRECTUM in federal state unitary enterprise Scientific Research Institute Ekran allowed to accelerate considerably the movement of information flows and to accurately control all processes. As a result, the speed and customer service quality increased, so, the enterprise got additional competitive advantages.

In September, 2015 the IT-Consult Group completed the project of updating of 300 jobs of a system of corporate electronic document management of DIRECTUM in JSC Scientific Research Institute EKRAN (Rostekhnologii Corporation)

During updating of an information system in one step about 300 employees of institute were transferred to use of the new version of DIRECTUM. Thanks to competently prepared and accurately implemented implementation plan of Technical specifications transition of the enterprise to a new software version was painless absolutely.

Besides, during implementation of the new version of EDMS DIRECTUM it was succeeded to expand its use considerably. Along with more modern interface (tapes, shortcut bars), the updated system received also additional functionality which there was not enough previous version. So, in particular, there was a mobile interface and remote web access, and thanks to the appeared means of a preview, it became much faster and more convenient to work. The built-in system of training accompanied with videos gives the chance to get easily into gear to the new employees.

"As soon as on the enterprise the order for development of any products arrives, the chief designer creates the administrative document and using the DIRECTUM system notifies all who should be involved in process of this work. Besides, a system allows to control the course of accomplishment of different tasks.
