Nationalization

A court in the Primorsky Territory transferred to the ownership of the state 100% of the shares of MMC Dalpolimetal, one of the largest lead producers in Russia. The company mines lead and zinc ores, which are used in the production of ammunition and military equipment. This was reported on March 17, 2025.

According to RBC, the court satisfied the claim of Deputy Prosecutor General Igor Tkachev against businessman Eduard Yanakov, who in 2008-2011 was a deputy of the State Duma, as well as against other defendants. The judge agreed with the position of the prosecutor's office that the property was obtained into property in violation of the requirements of anti-corruption legislation.

The assets of the enterprise are estimated at ₽32 billion excluding reserves at mines. Taking into account these reserves, the company's value is approximately ₽270 billion.

JSC MMC Dalpolimetal has been going through bankruptcy proceedings since the end of 2024. Amur Machine and Services LLC filed a lawsuit to recognize the insolvency of the enterprise. The claim was satisfied, and a monitoring procedure was introduced against the debtor with the appointment of an interim manager. Interim measures were introduced against the property of the enterprise.

After the start of bankruptcy proceedings, several other plaintiffs appeared in the case - the companies "Security Agency" Cheetah, "" Mining Company "Universal," "Uraltekhkomplekt," "EKOS-S" and Drive"." Also, the demand for recovery from MMC Dalpolimetal presented ₽1,72 billion Sberbank.

The defendant in the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office in the Dalnegorsk District Court of MMC Dalpolimetal has been since February 2025. The assets of the enterprise were also seized as part of this proceedings. Several third parties were involved in the case, including state structures, including the Federal Agency for State Property Management (Rosimushchestvo). The court explained their involvement by the fact that the MMC is a city-forming organization.^[1]

Asset seizure

In February 2025, the Dalnegorsk District Court seized the Dalpolimetal mining and metallurgical complex located in the Primorsky Territory. The measures were taken as part of a trial that began on February 17. The claimant is the Prosecutor General's Office, and the defendants are companies from Cyprus Chanam Limited, Mimoro Constructions Ltd, Wanester Management Limited and businessman Eduard Yanakov. The Federal Property Management Agency and the Department for Subsoil Use of the Far Eastern Federal District are listed as third parties.
