2025: Acquisition of entertainment media "Kanobu" and "Igromania"

Entertainment media "Kanobu" and "Igromania" have changed their owner. According to Kontur. Fokus, on February 18, 2025, legal entities had an owner - IFSI JSC (general director - Vasily Ovchinnikov). Previously, both sites belonged to the entrepreneur Haji Makhtiev. The company announced this on March 5, 2025.

Igromania and Kanobu were among the first acquisitions of the IFSI holding. The holding sets itself the goal of supporting both MEDIA and developing a strategy that will not only preserve the peculiarity of each publication, but also create new opportunities for their growth and development. Discussions are already underway in Igromania to strengthen the content component, including coverage of topics eSports the Russian and the video game industry. At the same time, materials about foreign games and world events will continue to be published in publications. In the future, it is planned that these media will become an important tool marketing for domestic games.

As of March 2025, IFSI is actively looking for and studying studios that have lost Western investments and refused to be relocated. The focus of the company is also aimed at projects of those developers who received partial support from IRI, have commercial potential in the domestic and global markets and are looking for investments in their projects.
