2025: Move to "1S:UT" 11.5
First Bit has updated the information contour of the Russian branch of Multivac, a supplier of industrial equipment for packaging food products. This was announced by "First Bit" on March 13, 2025.
Thanks to this, the company was able to reduce the cost of maintaining information systems, completely abandoning outsourcing.
Specialists of the First Bit replaced the outdated system "1C: Trade Management" (1S:UT 10.3) with the current version of 1S:UT 11.5 used in Multivac Rus, and also integrated it with the solutions "1C: KORP Accounting" and "1C: Payroll and HR Management."
The initial phase of the project involved a thorough review of the customer's current processes, with a focus on warehouse activities that were not sufficiently structured in the old system. In the course of the work, a model was created that reflects key business processes, due to which some sales problems were identified that prevented the company from working efficiently.
As a result, a system was developed that takes into account the specific needs of Multivak Rus. One of the significant improvements was the introduction of targeted storage, which made it possible to optimize the processes of acceptance, storage and shipment of materials.
{{quote 'Within the framework of the project, we have developed several documents that supplemented the basic capabilities of the 1S:UT. The order type "Warranty repair" made it possible to optimize the accounting of orders that do not require payment and shipment. A document was also developed to fix the departures of service engineers. A special report was created to analyze the data from these documents. In addition, a register was created to take into account the markups that are used when setting prices for spare parts, and a printed form "Specification" was developed for customer orders, - said Nikolai Grachev, head of the corporate projects department at First Bit. }}
The transition from 1S:UT 10.3 to 1S:UT 11.5 opened up access to new functionality for MULTIVAC, improved productivity, and reduced costs by eliminating IT outsourcing. The updated system, implemented by the specialists of the First Bit, became an important tool for optimizing processes in the wholesale company, which allowed it to improve the quality of customer warranty service.
