Cicada Holding Built Cable Infrastructure for VTB

2025: SCS installation

Cicada completed the installation of cable infrastructure for VTB. This was announced by Tsikada on March 19, 2025.

During the project, the CICADA team, together with AGS Distribution, installed structured cable systems (SCS), dispatch cabinets, as well as sensors and monitoring modules. The works covered three branches in Moscow: Dnepropetrovsk passage, Perovskoye shosse and Vorontsovskaya street, while each building is provided with solutions that meet current standards and safety requirements.

Key components have been integrated at all facilities, including the horizontal distribution subsystem and the central distribution unit.

The key advantage of SCS is the increased reliability of the system. The SCS architecture will allow VTB to quickly localize the damaged area and switch to a backup line, which will preserve the functioning of the information infrastructure even during repair work.

In addition, SKS has versatility and supports the work of various types and generations of computer equipment, which is important for such a large-scale and geographically distributed company as VTB. Serviceability is also an important aspect. Low maintenance costs thanks to built-in administration capabilities greatly simplify the work of the bank's technical specialists.

The structured cable system implemented by JSC "CICADA" is easily expanded, and when choosing equipment, the necessary reserve of capacity is provided.
