2025: Korus Data Framework Introduction

The Dar company (part of the Korus Consulting Group of Companies) has launched the Korus Data Framework solution on the market, which helps businesses implement data platforms faster and easier using open and import-independent technologies. This was announced by Korus Consulting on March 21, 2025.

Among the tasks that the Korus Data Framework (KDF) can solve is metadata management in the design and development of data warehouses and analytical systems, as well as CI/CD release and process management. With the help of the solution, you can prepare data, ensure their quality and develop routine ETL/ELT processes, which ultimately helps to save resources when implementing the data platform.

The presence of pre-configured development environments reduces the time it takes to implement a new solution, and the platform methodology helps system analysts and data engineers get started as quickly as possible. By using KDF, the company receives a deployed infrastructure and unified approaches to the development of the data platform, which significantly reduces the cost of implementing the solution.

KDF consists of a number of modules, including a set of templates for working with data sources, orchestration and implementation of data storage according to different methodologies (Data Vault, Snowflake, 3NF). Through the open source technologies used, such as Airflow, S3, Greenplum, ClickHouse, dbt, Trino, KDF allows you to implement the data platform both as a classic storage and as a Lakehouse class solution.

KDF is available in the cloud; in addition, it can be integrated into the company's internal IT infrastructure with the ability to use Kubernetes for containerization, service management and scale-out.

Our customers have significantly increased demand for services related to the rapid deployment of the data platform, migration to a new technology stack and optimization of existing data warehouses. The presence of components that can be reused, easy deployment and the ability to use both open source elements and proprietary products gave us the opportunity to form a single set of modules and a unified approach to such projects. The use of KDF has confirmed that the time it takes to deploy data platforms can be reduced by 20%, "said Aleksandar Zenkovich, Head of DWH/ML at DAR.
