The Platon charging system will work even more stable even under heavy load. This was announced by T1 on March 25, 2025.

The network traffic balancer, developed by T1 Servionika, is a critical node in the digital infrastructure of RT-Invest Transport Systems (RTITS), which is the operator of the Platon toll collection system. It will provide high performance and bandwidth - at least 10 GB/s, speed - at least 500 thousand connections per second.

RTITS began a project to switch to a domestic solution, since after leaving the Russian market of Western vendors, the previous system was left without licensed support. The modern traffic balancer, thanks to the uniform distribution of load between servers, reduced the risks of overloading individual nodes of the system and ensured stable operation of services, including fare.

T1 Servionika, as a service support partner at RTITS, has piloted several ready-made Russian solutions. For further refinement, a product based on POAngie Pro was chosen. In particular, experts have configured role model authentication, performance monitoring analysis and a web interface. An additional advantage of the solution was compatibility with Russian OS.

As of March 2025, the product has already been put into commercial operation. His further support will also be provided by T1 Servionica.

Such complex solutions are very relevant for the Russian market. Until recently, only large foreign companies worked in this area, and after their departure, Russian business needed analogues. We managed to offer a product completely created on Russian technologies that meet all the requirements of the regulator, carry out its testing and implementation, as well as establish support, - said Alexander Yeltsov, General Director of T1 Servionika.

Import substitution of the traffic balancing system is a very important project. After six months of testing, we have received a solution that not only surpasses the previous one in performance and reliability, but also allows us to independently develop it taking into account the needs of the business. Now it is already working in industrial mode. At the same time, it is important that the project is implemented "turnkey": a single reliable provider is responsible for all stages - selection of software and hardware, adaptation, necessary refinement and support, - commented on the press service of RT-Invest Transport Systems.
