2022: From warehouse chaos to perfect order: How "DougDanon" saved business with "Cloverens"
Warehouse on fire: how errors in shipments and overdue goods have killed business
The trading company DagDanon, representing brands such as Danone, Valio and Hochland, found itself in a difficult situation. Two warehouses with a total area of 3000 m ² turned into a source of constant problems: re-sorting, delays in shipments and lack of control over the shelf life of products.
Each order was collected manually, and the correctness of the assembly was checked by completely different people. This created a double job: storekeepers collected orders, and additional employees - they are also inspectors - crossed out the collected positions from the list. After that, the invoices were transferred to the only operator who manually entered the data into the system. Because of this difficult algorithm, the processing of documents was delayed, and customers managed to deliver products only after a day.
The situation was critical. Orders were carried out with delays, and errors in shipments became regular. Customers complained of expired goods and incorrect deliveries. This not only annoyed customers, but also led to financial losses for the company, Magomedgusen Khalilulaev, director of Torgvizor.

Why didn't DagDanon believe in new solutions?
The DagDanon company worked for a long time as an old proven method: orders were collected manually, and additional employees checked the correct assembly. This created double jobs and delays, but staff were used to such a system. When representatives of Torgvizor proposed to introduce warehouse automation, doubts arose in the company.
We understood that the problem is not only in the technical side, but also in the human factor. Employees are used to working the old fashioned way, and retraining them would be difficult. In addition, high personnel turnover was observed in the warehouse, which complicated the implementation process, Magomedgusen Khalilulaev.

DagDanon employees doubted that working on new algorithms would help them cope with tasks, especially taking into account the need to monitor shelf life and address storage.
The client was not sure that the automated system would be able to fully integrate with Mercury. But we convinced the company's management that we would adapt our proposed solution to the needs of DagDanon, |
Lifeline: How an integrator offered a simple but powerful solution
Integrators of the company "Torgvizor" proposed to introduce a system of address storage and accounting for shelf life on the basis of "Cloverens." The proposal turned out to be easy to implement and did not require significant technical resources.
We proposed a comprehensive solution that included integration with 1C: Trade Management 11.4 and the use of data collection terminals (shipping documentation). This allowed you to automate processes and minimize errors. We adapted the system to the specifics of the work "DagDanon," Magomedgusen Khalilulaev.
|
Difficult start: staff turnover and the first difficulties of implementation
The Torgvizor specialists began integrating the system immediately after the implementation decision was made. However, the process was not as simple as expected. At the DagDanon warehouse, there was a high turnover of personnel: during the preparation for implementation, six employees changed, including storekeepers, operators and the warehouse manager.
We could not transfer the project for execution until we found a responsible person. Only after that we were able to get to work. But even then, the implementation process was not easy: employees were used to working according to old schemes, and they needed time to adapt to new tools, |
Warehouse riot and other complications
After the implementation of the Kleverens system and integration with 1C: Trade Management 11.4, the stage of active use began. One of the key points was working with data collection terminals. The introduction of the new system made it possible to automate the processes of selection and packaging of goods. However, the first months of operation revealed several difficulties.
A few months after automation and work with shipping documentation, it became clear that the area where the packaging and packaging process occurs is not large enough. I had to do reconstruction and expansion of the area. This required additional effort, but without this further work would not have been possible, Magomedgusen Khalilulaev.
|
There were also difficulties with the motivation of employees. After the introduction of the system, storekeepers began to complete not fully collected invoices, explaining this by the absence of goods in the warehouse.
This has become a new headache. I had to enter a pin code that allows only the warehouse manager to complete the invoice after checking. Thus, we were able to eliminate abuse and increase employee responsibility, |
The Zyfras speak for themselves: errors eliminated, speed increased, costs decreased
The introduction of a software and hardware complex based on Kleverens software has brought tangible results:
- Fixed shipping errors and re-sorting.
- The speed of processing orders has increased several times.
- The costs of checking and processing invoices have been reduced.
- Shelf life control has become automated and accurate.
Now storekeepers can train a new employee in three hours, thanks to a clear system and convenient tools. We also reduced the number of employees in the shift, but increased their motivation by increasing salaries, Magomedgusen Khalilulaev.

New Warehouse Life and New Horizons
The company "DagDanon" has set foot in a new stage of development. Employees can now focus on completing tasks rather than looking for errors.
The client is already seeing growth trends. Warehouses are ready to increase volumes, as we have shown how it is possible to reorganize storage areas with relatively little effort. "DougDanon" can calmly expand the range and increase the number of orders without fear of failures. We are always in touch and ready to help and support the stable operation of the system, |
Now DagDanon plans to expand the functionality of the system, including the implementation of consolidated documents for a cold warehouse. Integrators already see at this stage how processes can be improved and plan to implement additional tools for controlling deliveries and shipments.
