2023: Data warehousing, analytical reporting and dashboard development

The world's leading packaging manufacturer Ball Corporation has completed a deal to sell its Russian business. The new owner of the assets was Arnest Packaging Solutions, a member of the Arnest Group.

The company BeringPro successfully carried out the transfer and launch of the dedicated Russian enterprise management systems SAP Ball segment. She integrated it with the complex IT of products on the local resources of the client and adapted it to the peculiarities of his business and requirements.

In parallel with the SAP Ball migration project, BeringPro consultants implemented a project to create a data warehouse, analytical reporting and development of dashboards for Arnest Packaging Solutions. This was the first implementation of this product in the practice of BeringPro.

Within the framework of the project, open source components of the analytical platform were deployed: DBMS (PostgreSQL) and ETL (Apache Airflow), as well as components of the BI-platform Insight. A comprehensive data warehouse (CDS) has been developed, a data flow diagram (DAG) for CDS has been created, and back-end and front-end development of layouts of business-critical reports and dashboards, including Daily Sales and Sales Forecast, have been performed. Eight dashboards have already been put into commercial operation.
