2025: Announcement of the next generation of equipment for contactless identification of objects

On April 4, 2025, Technologies of the Future introduced the next generation of equipment for contactless identification of objects - high-performance UHF RFID readers, antennas and tags. These products are designed specifically to meet the growing market needs of automated identification and accounting systems. RFID optimizes the operation of WMS, YMS, SCADA systems.

The equipment is designed and manufactured in Russia. Since all production facilities are located in the Russian Federation, the equipment is fully adapted to the most stringent operating conditions, the company emphasized.

Differences in RFID solutions offered

  • Maximum adaptability. Russian development ensures that the equipment meets the specific requirements of domestic enterprises and various climatic conditions.
  • Comprehensive support. The company's specialists are ready to offer a full range of services - from choosing a configuration for specific tasks to installing, configuring and training employees to work with equipment.
  • Versatility of integration. Support for a wide range of interfaces (Ethernet, RS485, Wi-Fi, Wiegand) and popular protocols (Modbus, MQTT, REST). Easy integration with ERP systems, including 1C.
  • Autonomy and scalability. The use of RFID tools in company solutions allows you to configure readers, generate reports and manage a large number of devices within a single network.

Differences in RFID solutions offered

Applications

Access control in closed areas

To ensure safe entry into the territory of industrial enterprises, offices and residential complexes, the system uses RFID tags installed on vehicles and readers integrated into the access control system. The solution provides instant identification and admission of registered vehicles only.

Examples of applications:

  • Industrial areas. Increased security in factories and factories.
  • Residential complexes. Increased protection of tenants and guests.
  • Logistics terminals. Automatic registration of entering trucks.
  • Control of the time of vehicles on the territory of the logistics complex.

Anticorrosive systems

RFID tags can be installed on any item - from towels in hotel rooms to a specialized tool in repair shops. The reading equipment records attempts to move objects outside the controlled area, ensuring the protection of property.

Examples of applications:

  • Retail stores. Prevention of theft of expensive goods.
  • Warehouses and vaults. Control of movement of inventory.
  • Medical facilities. Medical inventory tracking.
  • Repair shops. Prevention of tool removal.

Industrial automation

RFID solutions are suitable for implementation in large industrial enterprises, quarries and mines. Due to its resistance to extreme temperatures, dust and humidity, the equipment is suitable for use in difficult conditions such as mining and the production of building materials.

Examples of applications:

  • Mining enterprises. Monitoring the movement of quarry machinery.
  • Metallurgy. Identification of blanks and finished products.
  • Traffic management. With RFID technologies, it is possible to effectively control the movement of transport and cargo in any industry, be it an industrial enterprise, a logistics center or a construction site.

Recently, RFID technologies are increasingly being used in YMS systems.

  • Inventory management. One of the main differences of the RFID system is the accuracy of the inventory count. Using RFID tags, companies can eliminate human errors that occur during manual counting. This results in more robust inventory management, where the data accurately reflects the quantity of products available.

RFID technology is already used in many industries, from retail trade to mining.

RFID is especially relevant and in demand where technologies are needed that increase process efficiency and labor safety.

Among the key possibilities are the accuracy of identification of objects even in difficult conditions, minimal human intervention and the ability to track assets in real time. It is possible to manage traffic flows thanks to RFID in any territory.

Options for Effective Combinations of RFID with Systems

RFID is effective at all stages of production and transportation of goods

YMS:

  • Automatic asset tracking. RFID tags on containers and equipment + sensors on gates to control entry/exit.
  • Optimizing dock scheduling. RFID data helps distribute loading docks, reducing downtime.

WMS:

  • Real-time inventory. RFID scanners on loaders update WMS data without stopping processes.
  • Pick-up acceleration. Labels on goods direct employees to the desired racks through mobile terminals.

SCADA:

  • Access control. Integration of employee RFID passes with SCADA systems to restrict access to high risk areas.

Features of RFID solutions offered

  • Sensitivity and read range. The equipment is able to recognize marks at a distance of several tens of meters, which is especially valuable in conditions of intensive production flow.
  • Integration with any accounting systems. Open APIs or WEB APIs optimize integration with most popular ERP systems, which will easily integrate additional capabilities into the existing IT infrastructure.
  • Energy efficiency and reliability. Readers and antennas are designed to minimize power consumption while maintaining performance.
  • Ease of operation and maintenance. Thanks to the intuitive software interface, the staff will be able to quickly learn how to work with the system. And regular firmware updates will ensure the relevance of the functionality and support for new standards.
