2025: Arrest in criminal community case

In early April 2025, it became known that Meshchansky District Court Moscow he had arrested the co-founder and general director of the St. Petersburg IT company "" Aeza Group Yuri Bozoyan. He is accused of creating a criminal community (OPS) and other offenses.

Hosting provider Aeza Group was created in June 2021 by residents of St. Petersburg Arseny Penzev and Igor Knyazev. Bozoyan joined the project in January 2023. Previously, he was the founder and general director of the St. Petersburg Cloud Solutions LLC, which was liquidated in June 2023.

According to the Kommersant newspaper, on April 2, 2025, security officials, including FSB officers, searched the Aeza Group office on Zolnaya Street in St. Petersburg. Previously, this building housed PMC Wagner Center, after which the hosting provider leasing servers took over the area.

In addition to Bozoyan, law enforcement officers detained several more employees of his company. The defendants were transferred to Moscow, since the investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is investigating the criminal case. The court, at the request of the investigation, imprisoned all the defendants. According to available information, a criminal case was initiated in connection with illegal banking activities as part of the OPS (part 2 of article 172 and part 1 of article 210 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). In particular, according to media reports, company employees are suspected of illegally cashing out funds. Aeza Group itself says that the company continues to operate as before.
