M2M Telematics developed standards of implementation of GLONASS on transport

The M2M Telematics group announced completion of works on the state order on project development of national standards of the Russian Federation in the field of implementation of the Global navigation satellite system (GLONASS) on vehicles for Federal Road Agency of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. State standard specifications in the field of implementation of GLONASS on vehicles fix the existing standards of requirements to appointment, architecture, characteristics and functions of supervisory control systems by transport based on GLONASS.

The Federal Road Agency of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation was a customer on Research and Development on implementation of GLONASS in road economy, passenger traffic, housing and communal services and other spheres of a transport complex within the Federal target program "Global Navigation System".

As note in the company in spite of the fact that state standard specifications on implementations of GLONASS technologies on the road equipment, land passenger transport and special transport of municipal services have advisory nature, the developed standards will render to all companies interested in use of GLONASS technologies great assistance in the choice of the high-quality navigation and coherent equipment and will allow to avoid unfair contractors within implementation of monitoring systems and control of transport.

At the same time, for the purpose of increasing the level of security of traffic and passengers on transport of a system of information maintenance and monitoring of city and suburban automobile transportations and dangerous loads should correspond to state standard specifications which are obligatory, report in "M2M to telematics". All requirements and characteristics of management systems and the navigation and coherent equipment which are put into operation by state standard specifications in the future will be included in technical specifications at tendering process on implementation of monitoring systems and supervisory control by transport based on GLONASS.

State standard specifications regulating requirements to an aircraft equipment of supervisory control systems city land passenger transport and also requirements to the systems of information maintenance and monitoring of city and suburban automobile transportations of dangerous loads were prepared by specialists of M2M Telematics Group in cooperation with Russian Space Systems company.
