2025: Launch of Rare Earth Metal Recovery Line from Electronic Waste

In April 2025, Industrial Metal Recycling Technologies LLC launched a pilot industrial site in the Samara Region for the extraction of rare earth metals from waste from the production of magnets and recycled electronic scrap. The project is aimed at providing Russian enterprises of the radio-electronic industry with the necessary resources obtained from environmentally friendly sources.

According to the government of the Samara region, the technology for the extraction of rare-earth metals developed by Russian scientists is a unique solution, protected by patents and unparalleled at the world level. The effectiveness of the technology has already been proven: it is possible to extract more than 95% of valuable metals. The enterprise team set a goal to increase this figure to 99.5% by the end of the current quarter.
