Komapniya of FIPS starts operation of a specialized system of search

The I-Teco company completed the project of expansion of information base and development of a system of patent search of PatSearch for Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks (Rospatent). The general customer of a system acted as federal state institution "Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS Federal State Institution, is a part of Rospatent).

Results and parts

According to terms of the contract, works are begun in 2008 and are complete at the end of 2010. The total cost of works was more than 145 million rubles.

During the performed works specialists of integrator created an information and analytical system, unique by the parameters. Today more than 80 million patent documents of the different countries, including Russia are loaded into a system. All patents are provided to the uniform standard. Upgrade of a hardware complex of a system is carried out that allowed to increase its high-speed performance and to increase resources of a storage system to 68 Tb. The system-wide software includes platforms from the leading world suppliers: search FAST ESP platform (Microsoft), DBMS Oracle EMC Documentum Microsoft.
