2025: Product Announcement

In April 2025, the Chelyabinsk Plant of Urban Electric Transport (ChZGET), part of the Sinara group, launched the production of Sinara-6253 electric buses with an investment of ₽1,2 billion. The new transport successfully completed the test period and received the necessary certificate of compliance with safety requirements and environmental standards established in the countries of the Customs Union.

Tests of the electric bus were carried out at a specialized training ground in Minsk. For four months, experts evaluated the functionality of all bus components and units on electric traction, performing tests on the go and when braking.

The Sinara-6253 electric bus is equipped with modern batteries that provide a range of up to 240 km in urban conditions without the need for additional recharging. The vehicle has a fully low-floor interior designed for 35 seats and equipped with a climate control system, USB ports for recharging electronic devices and doors with the function of preventing pinching.

The head of the Sinara - City Machines company, Sergei Shunin, noted that the first prototype of the Sinara-6253 electric bus was developed in 2023 in St. Petersburg. After that, the company headed for the replacement of imported components and unification with the Sinara-6254 trolleybus. As a result of operational processing of the structure, a more advanced machine was created, made mainly from domestic components.

The trolleybus and electric bus are 75% unified, which greatly facilitates the process of organizing mass production. This approach does not require significant changes in the technological cycle and allows you to use the already proven base of component suppliers.^[1]
