2025: Implementation of the "scan library"
VTB has implemented a Russian document scanning solution developed by T1 Innotech (part of IT holding T1). The bank announced this on April 18, 2025.
As of April 2025, it is used by about 10 thousand bank employees in the head office and in the network divisions. With the help of the solution, about 10 million sheets of documents used in various processes have already been scanned: from opening accounts to lending.
The Scanning Library solution is a component of the Digital Banking Platform registered in the register of domestic software. It allows the bank to work more efficiently with large amounts of data, quickly translating paper documents into digital format.
In addition to digitization, the system allows you to quickly place documents on electronic media in the internal vaults of the bank. Thanks to its implementation, VTB provides customers with the most seamless service, which is especially important for legal entities operating arrays of documents.
The web scanning system is integrated into VTB's intelligent archive, which provides reliable storage, easy access and easy work with documents at every stage of their use.
The solution surpasses foreign counterparts in several respects. First, the system is able to create optimally and quickly PDF-files up to 10,000 pages. Secondly, she works for. operating system Linux Thirdly, the service allows you to work not only with documents in PDF, GIF, JPEG format, but also with any other formats, including Word and, Excel which greatly simplifies both document scanning and processing. In general, the implementation of the system allowed VTB to significantly simplify and speed up work processes, increase employee productivity and reduce operating costs, which ultimately has a positive effect on the cost of products and services for the bank's client.
The need to replace the solution is ripe within the framework of import substitution. In December 2024, the solution developed by T1 Innoteh was patented. It has great potential for commercialization. We notice interest in the development of our partners, "said Yana Likorenko, Head of the Department of Operational Control and Document Storage of the Department of Operational Business Support, Vice President of VTB. |
