2025: Chip Batch Enclosure

GS Nanotech (part of the GS Group holding) has packaged an experimental batch of chips for the Malt System (Malta System). GS Nanotech was informed about this by TAdviser on April 22, 2025.

In order to implement a casing of this level, GS Nanotech specialists, in partnership with the customer, have developed a special substrate consisting of 26 layers, as well as a technology for installing eight crystals into one case using the flip-chip method with an additional installation of more than 200 SMD components.

The yield of the suitable experimental batch was 100%. Both companies intend to continue cooperation.

Development, testing and all technological operations were carried out on the basis of GS Nanotech in the city of GusevKaliningrad region.

The construction of microcircuits of this level has become a challenge for the company, because before us no one has built microcircuits of this order, "said Sergey Plastinin, CEO of GS Nanotech. - But thanks to developed competencies we successfully coped with this task.

The choice of GS Nanotech as a contractor was not accidental. The joint work of our teams made it possible to achieve what is almost impossible to implement, for example, in cooperation with Chinese companies - to establish full-fledged cooperation and receive fast and technically competent feedback, commented Sergey Elizarov, scientific director of the Malt System. - The development of the substrate was carried out in close tandem: GS Nanotech specialists designed and manufactured the substrate, built microcircuits, and Malt System engineers modeled all intermediate versions and promptly issued comments on the topology and design of the substrate, tested the substrates and microcircuits assembled.

Since 2012, GS Nanotech has specialized in microcircuit enclosures, complex micro-modules and systems-in-enclosures for various applications in metal polymer enclosures BGA, LGA, QFN. The company's products are included in the register of Russian-made industrial products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
