On December 25, 2019, SKB Kontur announced that Elba had integrated with Kontur.OFD.

Elba is an online accounting for entrepreneurs. Like any accounting service, Elbe needs data on the income and expenses of an entrepreneur in order to count taxes and generate reports.
With cashless operations, the issue has been resolved for a long time - Elba has integrated with most well-known banks and users do not have to manually record operations. It remained to decide how to automatically record cash revenue.
Elba began with the box office itself and integrated with Lifepay, Litebox and Modulkassa. And now I decided to reach a wider audience by making a connection with the CRF. An OFD is a fiscal data operator that can be set to any cash register. Now it doesn't matter what the cash desk user has - if he works with Kontur.OFD, information about his cash revenue will appear automatically in Elbe.
Integration with "Modular Cash"
On October 9, 2019, SKB Konta announced the integration of online accounting for Kontur.Elba entrepreneurs with Modular Cash. Integration is designed to simplify income accounting and tax calculation.

Elba learned to work with foreign exchange accounts
SKB Konta Company presented in the fall of 2014 the update of the web service "Kontur.Elba." According to CNews in SKB Kontor, now its users can conduct settlements in currency. Giving users the opportunity to work with foreign partners and conduct foreign exchange operations has become a priority task of the Elba service development team this fall. Sharp fluctuations in the ruble exchange rate, which provoked another increase in the number of operations with currency, contributed to the quick solution of the problem to some extent, the company noted. Now, customers of the service can set up a currency and transit account number in details and conduct settlements in the currency in which they are comfortable without leaving the service site.
Elba is able to recognize 34 types of currency and work with them. To calculate tax, the service independently transfers income in currency to rubles at the rate valid on the day of receipt and takes into account the exchange rate difference. This is also convenient in that such a calculation has its own subtleties, indicated in SKB Contour.
As Olga Avvakumova, an analyst at the Kontur.Elba project, explained, "you only need to take into account the difference that arises when selling foreign currency at a rate higher than the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on the same day, or when buying currency at a rate lower than the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation on the same day. When working in Elbe, this happens automatically. It is only necessary to indicate the rate of sale or purchase of currency, and if it turns out to be more profitable than the rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, a positive difference will be taken into account in income when calculating tax. "
As with ruble transactions, the results of currency settlements are taken into account on the home page and in the "Money" section, in turnover and, accordingly, in the statements. Foreign currency statements are easily imported into Elba from an online bank. The tax takes into account only the receipt of money to the transit account, and the transfer from the transit account to the current currency account and the subsequent sale of currency with crediting to the ruble account will no longer be taken into account.

Split "Accounting. Contour" into "Contour. Accounting" and "Contour. Elbe"
On July 10, 2014, SKB Contour announced the termination of the joint project "Accountancy. Contour" in the mode of unified online accounting for individual entrepreneurs and companies.
The creators divided the Accountancy service into two original components: Contour.Accountancy for large companies and Contour.Elbe for entrepreneurs, USN users and UVD payers.
After the separation of projects "Contour. Elba" , 600 thousand users will be served, "Contour.Accountancy" more than 240 thousand.
Based on this information, we can conclude that the user base has been growing since September 2012, when the projects were merged. By that time, the number of registered users of the Elba service exceeded 250 thousand, of which about 7.5 thousand used paid tariffs. As of July 10, 2014, neither the amount of project revenues during the joint activity, nor their separate revenues are known. According to 2011 data, Eureka and Elba accounted for about 2% of the total revenue of SKB Kontur, which amounted to 3.1 billion rubles. According to SKB Kontor employees, the merger is unsuccessful and rash - the development costs have increased slightly, and the new product concept has not met with user understanding.
The separation of products, after their joint two-year existence, was preceded by the cleaning of the subscriber base. In June 2013, the light version of "Accountancy. Contour" completely refused free tariffs, after which part of the "free" users were removed from the subscriber base, but the audience of "those who are ready to pay" was strengthened.
Elbe believes that the temporary association of products brought some advantages: an employee section has been created in accounting, where it is possible to record advances, sick leave and choose employee citizenship.
2012: Merger with Eureka to Contour.Accounting
SKB Konta, a Yekaterinburg software developer, announced in the fall of 2012 the launch of a new service for the accountancy business. Konta, combining the functionality of two accounting SaaS services of the company - Elba (for an entrepreneur) and Eureka (for an accountant), which thus ceased to exist independently.

Elba is intended for individual entrepreneurs at the USN and UTII, as well as LLC and helps to maintain all accounting for a person without special knowledge in this area. In addition, the web service makes it possible for individual entrepreneurs to submit electronic reporting to tax for absolutely free. During the year, the customer base of the product exceeded 25,000 users.
Accountants serving individual entrepreneurs and organizations were able to restore order in current affairs with the help of the "Personal Office." The new business tool allows you to automate most processes related to the preparation and submission of reports, and as a result - to increase the productivity of a specialist by two to three times.
