The project of delivery and implementation of Citrix NetScaler for the West Ural bank JSC Sberbank of Russia

The task of the choice of the solution providing uninterrupted, productive and secure access to business applications was set for Management of technical means and telecommunications of the West Ural bank JSC Sberbank of Russia.

As an optimal solution specialists of Softline offered Citrix NetScaler MPX 10500 Enterprise Editions. This product as much as possible meets the requirements of the West Ural bank JSC Sberbank of Russia, such as performance, fault tolerance and scalability. In particular, the model contains two power supplies, supports, if necessary, upgrade on the MPX 12500 model and also provides a possibility of flexible expansion at increase in number of users. The project was implemented within three main stages. At an analysis stage and planning engineers of Softline performed collecting and information analysis about the current infrastructure of the customer and prepared technical specifications on solution deployment. After the statement of technical aspects of implementation specialists started the main stage – solution deployment. In network infrastructure installed two Citrix NetScaler MPX devices 10500 Enterprise Editions, created High Availability a cluster for the organization of function of fault tolerance and the increased availability. Agents of condition monitoring of Web servers, functions of balancing of loading of Web servers, components of security of a system were in parallel debugged. Besides, works with web applications were optimized (the components AppCompress, SSL Offload and Acceleration, etc.). Upon completion of a stage of deployment the test stage and delivery of a system in trial operation within which the order and test procedures of a system was defined began, functions of fault tolerance and balancing of loading were tested; the short course of training for the administrator at the platform of the customer was organized and conducted.

The project on system implementation of optimization of work with web applications based on the product Citrix NetScaler was implemented by the certified engineers (Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator) of Softline company within 10 working days.

After successful implementation of Citrix NetScaler MPX of 10500 Enterprise Editions annual technical support of a system was free of charge provided to the West Ural bank JSC Sberbank of Russia.
