The southern Caucasian railroad equips the transport with the equipment of navigation and communication

The M2M Telematics group implemented navigation solutions in one of structural divisions of JSC South Caucasus Railway (YuKZhD).

Implementation Results

Based on the pilot project which was carried out during 2010, the navigation and coherent equipment of M2M Telematics Group equips 50 units of the railway equipment occupied on construction of the railroads in the territory of Armenia. Fuel level sensors and control of operation of hinged mechanisms are installed on the rolling stock that allows to control in real time its status and the course of the performed works.

For implementation of monitoring and control of transport the special dispatching service is created. The jobs connected to a monitoring system are set in dispatching service of the railroad.

At the enterprise process of use of the rolling stock is adjusted and fuel consumption, and due to receiving by managers of an additional control system of the movement is taken under control, also the security level of transportation of goods is raised.
