M2M Telematics: Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)

M2M Telematics accumulated experience of development and implementation of the large-scale regional projects with use of GLONASS, first of all, connected with the solution of transport problems. The company monitors development of ITS in the countries of Europe, Japan, the USA and uses in Russia the best solutions from world practice. It concerns also control of passenger transport, special equipment of different services of the city and the systems of informing passengers. Intelligent transport systems – the major direction the innovative developments of M2M Telematics Group in the field of a GLONASS/GPS. The ITS of the large city represents a complex of the interconnected automated systems of monitoring and management of traffic, allowing to optimize work of city and public transport and also to inform citizens on the organization of transport service in the territory of the city or the region and to provide response of emergency services to the road accidents. Solution GLONASS/GPS for vehicles and special equipment for services of the emergency reaction (the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations), housing and communal services, emergency medical service, public city transport, taxi pools are a part of ITS.

Since 2009 the ITS is successfully exploited in Dubna situated near Moscow and Ryazan, elements of ITS are implemented into Sochi, Barnaul, Ryazan and dozens of other cities of Russia.
