"Metal products" upgrade solutions 1C:PDM for operational planning of purchases and production to version 2.1

Due to the need of complex use of a 1C system: PDM together with "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" and also implementations of new systems capabilities 1C:PDM, specialists of Metalloproduktion LLC made the decision on transition to version 2.1.

Metalloproduktion LLC is engaged in development and production of automobile accessories since 1993. The company takes the leading positions in the market of protection of the crankcase, creating the qualitative, innovative product meeting expectations and meeting consumer requirements.

Technical capacity of Metalloproduktion LLC allows based on own design office in short terms to develop protection for any cars, to design stamps and also to calculate in any point of a surface of loading and to simulate force and effects of mechanical influence (blow) to which protection in use is exposed.

Specialists of Metalloproduktion LLC use more than three years a 1C system: PDM of version 1.0 for development of the products. Generally a PDM system was used at the enterprise until recently as file archive in which design data were mainly stored.

Now the company management makes the decision on use of data on PDM system products in the accounting system "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8" for a possibility of operational planning of purchases and production.

Due to the adoption of such solution in 1C:PDM not only products, but also technology of their production will be developed.

On January 28, 2011 for specialists of Metalloproduktion LLC training in a fact-finding course of the user of system 1C:PDM of version 2.1 was provided. Training was provided for designers and technologists by the specialist of APPIUS company, Oleg Bessmertny. During training the general system concept was considered, focus was shifted towards new systems capabilities, semi-automatic formation of design and technology notifications on change, creation and use of new properties and parameters of elements of a system with a possibility of their loan in new products is considered.
