2025: Coffee chain launch
Ivan Kharitonin, the son of the founder and main owner of the Russian pharmaceutical company Pharmstandard Viktor Kharitonin, launched a chain of coffee shops 2Grind coffee shop. In May 2025, 2Grind Coffee Shop LLC, which he owns, posted vacancies to find barista trainers for the fast-growing coffee chain.
According to Vedomosti, several coffee shops with no boarding places have already been opened in Moscow. Corners and kiosks under the 2Grind brand operate at the address of Pharmstandard's office on Testovskaya Street, in the building of the A.S. Loginov MCC, in one of the K + 31 clinics in western Moscow.
Forbes reported in May 2025 that Ivan Kharitonin registered 2Grind Coffee Shop LLC in early 2025. The search for personnel is also carried out by an individual entrepreneur Kharitonin. At the end of April 2025, the company was looking for a barista in a coffee shop on Voskresenskaya Street in Moscow.
Pharmstandard is also involved in the coffee business. In December 2024, Pharmstandard JSC applied for the registration of the 2Grind coffee shop trademark for classes related to coffee and cafe and restaurant services.
Pharmstandard is one of the largest Russian pharmaceutical distributors and manufacturers. The revenue of the head JSC Pharmstandard in 2024 increased by 6.5% to ₽152 billion, net profit decreased by 2.5% to ₽22,7 billion. Actual beneficiaries of the company were not disclosed, but the annual report on Russian accounting standards indicated that 96% belongs to one shareholder, and 4% to other individuals.
Forbes estimates the share of Ivan Kharitonin in the inheritance of Viktor Kharitonin at $3.75 billion. The young entrepreneur is almost 22 years old, studying at the Faculty of Computer Science of the Higher School of Economics. In addition to the coffee business, Ivan Kharitonin owns 47.5% each in Nord Lights LLC and NL City LLC, specializing in the activities of advertising agencies.[1]
