2025: Product Announcement

The Beshtau group of companies presented the first computer monitor based on a Russian chip, developed jointly with the domestic company Option. The device is based on its own scaler using a Russian-made chip. The presentation of the new development took place in early June 2025.

As reported in the company's Telegram channel, the scaler was developed on the basis of a microcircuit from the Russian company Option. The new device supports 2K resolution and 75 hertz refresh rate, which meets modern computer monitor requirements.

The Russian monitor is equipped with three digital inputs, as well as eDP and LVDS outputs for connecting various types of displays. The technical characteristics of the device allow it to be used in professional and corporate applications.

The project to create a Russian monitor on a domestic chip started four years ago. Option acquired a promising but unfinished chip development and brought it to a full-fledged working solution.

Option specialists finalized the microcircuit architecture, created a new firmware and conducted comprehensive testing of the device. The company ensured the technical readiness of the chip for mass production of monitors.

The Beshtau group of companies took over the integration of components, the construction of the finished product and the preparation of the technological process for serial production. The company has developed a full cycle of production of the monitor using the Russian element base.

The new solution is aimed at computer manufacturers and public sector organizations. For these categories of consumers, import independence and the use of a domestic electronic component base are of particular importance.^[1]
